Villegas Swing, huge bodied 16h 2019 TB gelding.
Been off the track since sept 2024 and has been in inconsistent light work. This guy had a hard time adjusting to life off the track initially. He’s been treated for ulcers, turned out regularly, converting to barefoot. He’s just a horse that needs someone with time and patience - not a program like mine. He’d benefit from someone that had the time to really restart him from the ground up. He is very sweet and tries to please, but needs a more experienced handler for when he has baby moments. He came in rather defensive and reactive. He is not anymore for the most part, but needs someone aware of that. He needs someone kind, patient and with time that’s willing to take everything slow. He will not go to just anyone and he will go under contract. Under saddle he’s been schooling walk trot, started a little bit of canter and was started lightly over fences. He wants to be a good boy and tries hard, just needs the right situation. If you’re the kind that has a soft spot for the misunderstood, you’ll get along. I rather enjoy being around the horse and he is quite loving towards me and his rider, but he needs his own person to focus on him. He is RRP eligible.
