Le Mistral - $7000

Le Mistral, 16h 2021 Gelding sired by Khozan. Lightly raced, 15 starts retiring in February. Not much of a racehorse and looking for new employment! This guys got a larger than life personality and should go to someone that appreciates that. He’s in your pockets and anything else he can investigate. He’s the horse playing with the boots the minute you put them on and checking out whatever he can. He’s friendly and curious. He’s pastured out with another gelding and easy to handle on the farm. Greets you at the gate and easy to catch. He retired with no known injuries or vices. He was turned out and allowed to be a horse after racing and is ready to start with his new adventure. We assessed him at liberty and he seems like a fun type! He’s got a canter and tidy way over fences that would lend to the hunter ring but honestly I think he’d be game to try most things. He loved showing off his flawless changes and sending himself down the jump chute. Really fun and sporty! We restarted him this week and he was fantastic! It’s hay week at the farm so it was very busy with tons of equipment running. Mizzy didn’t miss a beat or bat an eye at anything. Adult amateur friendly for sure! He walk trot cantered both ways, had his changes when asked and was lightly introduced to jumps. This guy is FUN and easy! He just got better and better as he went and really started to soften through his body and get some swing to his step through the second half of the ride. No silly business. Nice mouth, happy to go with contact or on a loose rein - he wasn’t going anywhere. RRP eligible.
