Yes Point, “Charlie” in the barn is nothing but a class act. His connections bred and raced him through his career before landing here to find a slower paced job. He has no desire to go anywhere quickly and requests we find him the adult amateur that also enjoys going slow and telling him what a good boy he is! He raced at the end of September but walked off the trailer like he’s lived here his whole life. Charlie’s well mannered and a gentleman to have at the farm. He was well behaved for the farrier, stands well in the wash bay on crossties and was nice to tack. We’ve evaluated him both at liberty and under saddle. Charlie’s just a GOOD BOY. He’s a nice mover and showed good form in the jump chute. Under saddle he was simple, quiet and fun. Happy to work or walk - you decide. He’s the horse that most of us need. I don’t see him galloping down to advanced fences anytime soon just because that would be a lot of effort, but most of us aren’t either! If your goals are safety, fun and looking good doing it with mid level type aspirations (think hunter pacing, 3’ hunters, novice / training eventing) he might just be your guy. No known issues / vices.
Charlie is RRP eligible and amateur friendly.
